The Nagoya District Court on Thursday sentenced a 42-year-old former elementary school teacher who started a group chat encouraging the sharing of indecent images of young girls to 2? years in prison.
Yuji Wada, whose surname was previously Moriyama, was convicted of violating a law that prohibits the filming of indecent images, as well as property damage.
The group chat he started consisted of seven elementary and junior high school teachers from five prefectures ¡ª?Hokkaido, Kanagawa, Tokyo, Okayama and Aichi?¡ª who shared secretly taken images on social media.
