Incredible as it seems now, just 11 months ago the first tournament of the year began with yokozuna Terunofuji atop the sumo rankings and all the focus was on whether or not ¨³ú±ð°ì¾± Kotozakura could follow up his first career title and join the veteran at yokozuna.
Within a matter of weeks Terunofuji was gone ¡ª with the injuries he had battled for years finally proving too much to overcome ¡ª and Kotozakura¡¯s dreams lay in tatters after a disastrous 5-10 outing.
