The Nagano Prefectural Police arrested 46-year-old Keisuke Iijima on Wednesday?after a woman and girl were found dead at his home in Tomi, Nagano Prefecture.
The police are investigating how the woman and girl died, believing that they are Iijima¡¯s wife and 12-year-old daughter.
Earlier the same day,?Iijima was arrested on suspicion of trying to kill his 14-year-old son with a knife.
According to the police,?Iijima¡¯s son ran into a nearby store and asked for help, saying that his father attacked him. He suffered minor hand injuries.
Following an emergency call by the store, a police officer entered Iijima¡¯s home and discovered the bodies.
Iijima was taken into custody after being found in a car in the city of Nagano.
