The U.S. and South Korea finalized a trade deal Wednesday after months of negotiation to iron out details of a framework agreement struck in July.
U.S. President Donald Trump said the agreement with South Korea had been reached as he attended a dinner hosted by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
¡°We did reach a deal on trade,¡± Trump told reporters as he shook hands with Lee at the event, without providing additional details. Later at the dinner, Trump called his South Korea meetings ¡°tremendous¡± and said he had ¡°pretty much finalized a trade deal.¡±
