A petite girl born in June 2013, Amaguri came to ARK this past March when her owner passed away.

Though her new highly restricted life was far different from what she had known, Amaguri adjusted to her surroundings almost immediately. And being unfazed by everything is surely her strength: She just rolls with it.?

Like her name, which is Japanese for ¡°sweet chestnut,¡± Amaguri is a sweetheart and considers anyone who pays attention to her to be a new friend.

A picky eater when she first came to ARK, Amaguri is now eager to break the boredom with some nibbles and will speak her mind if the staff is slow in bringing the chow.

A picky eater when she first came to ARK, she is now eager to break the boredom with some nibbles and will speak her mind if the staff is slow in bringing the chow.

Amaguri¡¯s best friend is her roommate Koshian and, though it¡¯s by no means a deal-breaker, we would love to see them find a home together.?

If you are interested in adopting, email ARK at [email protected] or call 050-1557-2763 (English or Japanese) Monday to Saturday (bilingual) for more information.
